Blue Flags in the Water

This a cropped version of a larger painting that I really went to town on .(ok I went bonkers on it) Really let myself get creatively carried away with this and I had a blast painting it in a very loose and uncontrolled way. I did have a towel handy to mop up some of the overspill. First I was excited with my drawing then timid, and once I began to paint I could set my brush free to move all over the painting .When it was edited I began to see all the wonderful playful life swirling around from my heavy use of water and acrylic washes on my new favorite non paper "terra skin".
